Piney appearance and aroma.  Rosemary combines beautifully with black pepper and oil in braised and fried food. Choose a stiff-stemmed bundle and you can use the stems, too - skewer eggplant and shishkebab ingredients for inside-out flavor.

Rosemary is available in a stiff, upright form and a softer, creeping form.  We grow both, using mostly the stiff-stemmed variety.
